Abbey Scaffolding (Swindon) Ltd was founded in 1988 as a specialist scaffolding contractor operating in the United Kingdom by Mr Chris Barnett. Chris, the principal director has many years on-site experience.

Abbey has continued to benefit over the years in recruiting experienced scaffolding operatives who believe in the company's professional quality of workmanship. Many recommendations have been secured including being approved contractors for Swindon Borough Council, Carillion and the MOD.

Abbey pride themselves on having a low turnaround of staff with some members of staff serving over 15 years service, we also have numerous father & son teams and encourage promotion from within. The company have a comprehensive training programme in place to ensure all staff have the correct skills needed to carry out their role within the company competently. The training needs of all individuals are assessed regularly and additional training is provided if necessary.

Abbey owes much of its success to being a client orientated, customer focussed organisation who advances through repeat business from client loyalty and recommendation. As a growing company we plan on continuing to grow steadily by securing more projects and becoming approved suppliers to more Main Contractors.
